In 2002Mark Feldman premiered the Violin Concerto of Guus Janssen as soloist with theNetherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra in the Contemporary Music FestivalNederland Muziek Dagen.
Also thatyear he performed a work composed for him by Bill Dobins the Concerto forViolin and Jazz Orchestra with the WDR Jazz Orchestra in concert at the ViennaConcert House.
Josh Grossman has been Artistic Director of Toronto Downtown Jazz, producers of the annual TD Toronto Jazz Festival, since 2010.Since joining Toronto Downtown Jazz, Josh has sought to re-invigourate the organization’s activities, launching new educational and off-season activity, building new bridges into the local jazz community, and encouraging the presentation of those artists who are moving jazz into a new and exciting direction.
The percussionist and composer Janusz M. Stefański is highlyregarded among a strict elite of jazz percussionists in Europe.In his more than 40 years of work as a percussionist,composer and band-leader, he has gained internationalrecognition among both musicians and critics.
