Paweł Kaczmarczyk – jazz pianist, arranger and composer. Winner of Kulturalne Odloty (Cultural Flights) of the Gazeta Wyborcza national daily in the Artist of the Year category, and recipient of the Jazz Oscars – Grand Prix from Jazz Music Lovers in the following categories: New Hope, Artist of the Year and Music Lovers’ Hope of the Year, and of numerous competition awards and honourable mentions (including the Grand Prix of the Jazz nad Odrą Festival and the Grand Prix of the Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa). Twice nominated for the Fryderyk award for the Jazz Musician of the Year and Phonographic Debut of The Yea, he has performed with stars of the magnitude of Lee Konitz, Jon Christensen, Mino Cinelu, Emil Mangelsdorff, Eivind Aarset, Arild Andersen, Theodosii Spassov, Janusz Muniak, Piotr Wojtasik, Adam Pierończyk, and Zbigniew Namysłowski.
