Dominika Rusinowska, a violinist born in 1989, completed primary and secondary music schools in Przemyśl, and graduated from the Faculty of Jazz and Stage Music of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of Dr Henryk Gembalski. She has performed with Andrzej Lampert, Ewa Uryga, Piotr Baron, Piotr Pałka, Sebastian Zawadzki, Kuba Płużek and Thomas Kolarczyk, bands and orchestras including Soul and Voices, Twoje Niebo, Dell Arte and Wieniawa, and in her own projects: D.R.A.G. and the women-only Unknown Quintet, being one of few such bands on the Polish jazz scene. She won an honourable mention at the Jazz na Wsi Festival, 3rd Prize at the Novum Jazz Festiwal in Łomża, and 2nd Prize at Baszta Jazz Festiwal. She has performed at the Piwnica pod Baranami Summer Jazz Festival, the Jazz Jantar Festival, and the Jazz Bez International Festival. A lyricist, she writes among others for Twoje Niebo band.
