Roman Janoska was born in 1989 in Bratislava into a musical family, which took note of his talent in his early childhood. At the age of five he started playing the violin. He studied at the State Conservatory in Bratislava and later continued his studies at the Conservatory for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna in the studio of Pavel Vernikov. Roman Janoska performs regularly in various international concert halls as a classical and jazz violinist. He plays as a soloist and as a chamber musician, sharing the stage with internationally known artists and orchestras.
Awarded many prizes at various competitions, Roman Janoska excels in the field of jazz, where he fascinates his audiences with his imaginative improvisations. He has had the privilege of collaborating with such famous musicians as Bobby McFerrin, Al Jarreau, Michel Camilo, Birelli Lagrene, Tony Lakatos, Harry Sokal, Adam Nussbaum, and many others.
