Polish jazz violinist born in 1993, he spent his childhood in Poronin in the Polish Tatra Mountains, where he was brought up by his highlander grandparents. He took his first violin lessons from the famous Podhale violinist Tadeusz Szostak ‘Berda’. He then developed his music skills at various folklore events. As a 15-year-old he entered the Fryderyk Chopin Music School in Cracow, where he learned double-bass and violin. In the last years of secondary school, he developed an interest in jazz. He graduated in violin from the Jazz and Popular Music Department at the Katowice Academy of Music, and in jazz double-bass from Cracow’s Academy of Music. At present he is studying at the Jazz and World Music Department of the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.
