Michal Schab - musician, instrumentalist, violinist and teacher. He graduated with two degrees from the Tadeusz Szeligowski Music School in Lublin in the class of Professor Iwona Siedlaczek. He is a graduate of the Karol Lipinski Academy of Music in Wroclaw in the class of Professor Beata Solnicka and the Grazyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Lodz in the class of Professor Henryk Gembalski. He perfected his playing under the tutelage of such violinists as Christian Danowicz and Jarosław Pietrzak. Laureate of the 13th Lublin Jazz Festival, participant of many violin workshops in Duszniki Zdrój and Łańcut, among others. Leader of the Michal Schab Quartet and member of the New Phonia band.

The style of his playing cannot be closed within the framework of traditional violin playing. Raised on delta blues and classical music, he became interested in jazz improvisation in his teenage years.
