Wojciech Barteczek is a violinist and composer born in 1996 in Bielsko-Biała, Poland. He began his musical journey at the age of six, studying violin, guitar, and piano. He graduated from the State Music School Complex in Bielsko-Biała, where he simultaneously developed his artistic interests by participating in numerous classical and jazz music festivals.
From an early age, he was actively involved in various musical ensembles, including chamber groups, big bands, and symphony orchestras. He is the recipient of numerous awards and distinctions from music competitions in Poland and abroad. He has performed in the United Arab Emirates, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Portugal, and Germany, and has appeared multiple times at the renowned Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa festival.
He is the founder of the Kinesis Jazz Quartet, where he develops his original projects combining elements of jazz and classical music. He is also a co-founder of the Silesian Tango Quintet, specializing in tango music and exploring his fascination with Argentine musical traditions.
As a composer and arranger, he combines a wide range of musical inspirations in his work. He graduated from the Jazz and Popular Music Department of the Academy of Music in Katowice. Currently, he continues his studies at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw in the jazz violin class of Mateusz Smoczyński.
